This is our 2nd, year as
Junior Girl
Scouts!
It is amazing what we have learned the last 4 years!
We made "slime" and handmade paper, jewelry kits
for the Council shop and participated in the
Kris Kringle Procession in town 4 years in a row now!
We also learned how to hand sew and have been working
on a small quilt for tiny babies born too soon.
Not all of us came back due to moving on to other schools
and other activities, but this year we have 10 girls.
All of us go to school in Frederick
MD.
We like each other a lot!
Our leader is Mrs P. M and our other
Moms and Dads help a lot at the meetings too!
This year will very exciting!
We all earned the Diamond Troop Award last
year
for the
THIRD time, and our troop leader will have us work
on our
FOURTH year award this year!
Some new things we hope to do are continue
working on the Sign of the Star, Bronze Award
and of course do some service projects!
This year will
be our first year helping with
programs for the younger girls!
